My Chinese student, Jose Ros invited Phoebe and I to his house at Cumbaya last Sunday evening. He really loves the Chinese culture and planted bamboo at the back of his garden. He is also an expert in Chinese martial arts.
He brought us to his rooftop and it was really a beautiful view:
We thank God for his hospitality and he taught us how to make pisco sour in his house: half cup of pisco, half cup of limon juice, some ice and sugar, put all these in the mixer and switch on the machine for 30 seconds.
Phoebe and I enjoyed the pisco sour very much. We got an opportunity to share our faith with him towards the end of our visit and he shared to us about his belief in an Indian religion too. We thank God for all the friends He has sent to us in Ecuador! 🙂
