One of our church members, Juanpi wanted to start exercising because of health problem. He wanted to swim so we went to the free swimming pool near my house about 3 weeks ago. We started swimming every Tuesday evening and Saturday morning. It has been a great time for both of us as we are refreshed after swimming. His health has improved too! 🙂
Then Billy joined us for swimming last Saturday and he said that he would join us every week too. There is also a free tennis court there so we decided to play tennis as well. So now, on top of the 3 times I am running in Carolina park weekly, I am swimming twice a week and playing tennis once a week!
I am feeling stronger physically with all these exercises but more importantly, Billy, Juanpi and I got to share deeper over food after the exercise sessions. It seems that we have formed a huddle subconsciously. I think I will invite more men to join us so that we form a man’s community of exercise! 🙂
