Sleeping for Less Than Eight Hours is Best, Study Shows

Just read something interesting and useful: Studies show people who sleep between six and a half hours and seven and a half hours per night, as they report, live the longest. People who sleep eight hours or more or less than six and one-half hours don’t live quite as long. There is just as much risk associated with sleeping too long as with sleeping too short. The big surprise is that long sleep seems to start at eight hours—sleeping eight and one-half hours might really be a little worse than sleeping five hours.
