divine appointment

We were eating at LaoBan’s place yesterday and it was divine that another pastor came to evangelize to LaoBan during that time. ๐Ÿ™‚ I brought LaoBan to this pastor’s Chinese church before so I recognized him immediately. He came to sit at our table and we chatted for a while. He is known as Pastor Li. He told us that he was not there to eat but just wanted to talk to LaoBan. 8)

Amazingly, there were no more customers during that time and there was an opportunity to talk to LaoBan. Being good friends with LaoBan, we called LaoBan and LaoBanNiang out to sit together with us. ๐Ÿ™‚ We started chatting concerning things about Ecuador and LaoBan’s restaurant business. Pastor Li then started to share about God’s love and how God changed him and convicted him to start a church 7 years ago in Ecuador. He shared one testimony after another and we could sense LaoBan and LaoBanNiang opening up to God. =)

At the end of the sharing, we invited LaoBan and LaoBanNiang to go to Pastor Li’s church on Easter Sunday this week and they agreed immediately. If God willing, we hope to lead both of them to Christ this Sunday. God has been sending different people to share to both of them and I pray that this Sunday will be the day of their salvation. Pray together with us that they will be ready to accept Jesus into their hearts. ๐Ÿ™‚

On hindsight, I think God must have arranged all these to happen. It was not normal that we ate at LaoBan’s place on weekdays and it was not usual for Pastor Li to go down to LaoBan’s place. All of us were there at the same time and same day, with the opportunity to share to LaoBan and LaoBanNiang. God is clearly sending people to call LaoBan and LaoBianNiang to know Him and we were very encouraged by God’s working in their lives. ๐Ÿ™‚ At the same time, we were glad to know Pastor Li more through his powerful testimonies. ๐Ÿ˜€ PR and I are happy to be able to evangelize during this Easter season too. Thank God for the divine appointment! 8)
