停电

We were talking to Peiru’s parents over video conference on Sat morning when suddenly everything was cut off. We realised it was a blackout. It was the second time this happened to us during our stay in Quito. Thank God that it was in the morning!🙂 Everything returned to normal after an hour. Thank God that the blackouts here do not last very long too.🙂 I have learnt to appreciate light and electricity more and not to take things for granted. I have also learnt to give thanks whether it is in darkness or light. 8)
